How is the company structured?

Independent Consultants of TLC work for themselves. Consultants are considered Independent Contractors, and are therefore not considered employees. Contractors do not have to report to anyone except their local government at tax time. When an individual or business joins the organization, they have the option of simply purchasing their hobby supplies at a significant discount, or, if they would like to create additional income; they may use their discount to build a profitable business. Their sponsor does not require anything from them.

The company does however reward consultants who introduce active and motivated people into the company; by offering them a recruiting bonus. This is independent of their personal performance in the company. This is not a pyramid. Pyramids are illegal. Pyramids are groups where income is generated solely from sponsoring others, and there are no marketable products or service. TLC is a direct sales company with a network marketing compensation plan, and it is the fastest growing company of its kind. Other reputable and successful business models that are structured the same way are companies like Avon, Tupperware, Mary Kay and hundreds others.

Some contractors work towards various company incentives (including cars) while others simply concentrate on establishing themselves as suppliers, instructors, or whatever niche they pursue. This is a personal decision. The beauty of this company is that your PERSONAL success is NOT specifically based on getting others to join.  Business acumen is the key.

FYI:  In the direct selling industry, some contractors invest a large amount of time advertising, and promoting their businesses. Because it is structured on a referral basis, as a potential new contractor, it is important that you register with the person or business who has taken the time to properly introduce you to the company.  It is a gesture of respect for the time, energy, and resources (free catalogs, phone calls, postage etc.) that are offered on your behalf as part of the process.E xisting contractors should never  register someone who is already in the process of being introduced to the company by another contractor.  This not only ensures that you are entering the company after establishing some form of a mutally respectable relationship with the person who will serve as your mentor; it maintains an amicable networking environment across the board. It's an honest, easy, system designed for everyone who is fair and motivated to succeed.  The same courtesy you give to the registration process, you will come to appreciate as a new contractor with potential business partners of your own.  We invite you to bookmark our site, and Order or register here with us . We wholeheartedly welcome you to our business as a customer or new partner.

Do I have to do cold sales or book Parties?

One of the reasons TLC is not widely available in retail stores is because the company prefers the products to be dispensed by persons familiar with the product  line. This is to maximize the customer’s experience with the product;  by ensuring that they are aware of all the various ways to use each item..  Despite this, TLC has very lenient policies with their consultant suppliers, and allow them to retail the products online or in other creative ways. Some start Scrapbooking clubs, organize numerous fundraisers, teach classes through community centers, offer workshops in their churches or create courses through continuing education venues. Others use the products on commission “scrapper for hire” projects, or retail their products on the internet. Those who own brick and mortar stores simply add the products to their shelves. The possibilities are endless. There are creative ways to market any product. The option is yours. In addition TLC has no non-compete clause, so it allows you to network yourself without the limitations imposed by other companies in the industry. If you are already a consultant with other companies, you are able to continue doing so even if you become a part of the TLC business. It couldn't be any easier...no monthly minimums, no party requirements, no minimum orders, no non-compete clauses, no territories, and no excessive startup fees. This is the opportunity you've been looking for. Register with us  to succeed.
